The city administration dates the building to 1974 and records the appearance of the Kozhomkul monument outside in 2000. This gives an exterior visit two layers: the architecture of a major public sports venue and the commemorative image associated with its present name.
The building is on Togolok Moldo Street and can form a separate stop north of the main central avenue. Give the monument space in the visit rather than treating it as an entrance decoration. It introduces a cultural figure remembered beyond formal competition results.
Municipal material from 2026 discusses reconstruction and preservation of the architectural appearance. Accordingly, do not assume every approach, interior or sports facility is available. Check current access before planning an event visit, and stay outside any works area. A proposed new facility should not be described as already open.
