Kegety is one of the mountain valleys south of the Chuy plain, suitable for a day focused on rivers, wooded slopes and walking. Different excursions use different parts of the gorge, and a roadside picnic is not the same outing as a long mountain hike. Decide in advance which section you want to explore and whether your vehicle can reach the chosen starting point. Nearby high routes and lake walks should be planned as separate objectives. Allow time to enjoy the valley itself instead of trying to combine every branch in one rushed visit.
