Data and contributions
The site uses technical WordPress and language cookies. Saved routes remain in your browser storage. A route report stores the name, date and text you submit; contributions are moderated before publication. Do not submit private contact or medical information.
Maps
Interactive maps load OpenFreeMap tiles based on OpenStreetMap data. The map provider receives normal request information, including your IP address. The website server also maintains technical request logs.
Public contributions
Traveller messages are intended for public route discussion. Do not post other people’s information without their consent.
Private enquiries
The name, email and message submitted through the contact form are stored in a private administration area and emailed to the project owner, including via Gmail. These enquiries are not published. The data is used to respond to and handle your enquiry. To correct or delete a message, write to info@kyrgyzmap.com.
Google Analytics
KyrgyzMap uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the website. The Google tag loads on public pages and sends information about page visits and technical browser or device details to Google. Analytics may use cookies to distinguish visits. This is separate from saved routes stored in your browser.
