How to read these figures

These figures belong to this specific TrailTrack itinerary. They must not overwrite metrics of another GPX, even with similar names. Source calculated time is separate from its editorial day plan and is not a recorded duration.

Surface and terrain

Improved surface 16%; unclassified 84%.

ABOUT THE PLACE

About this place

Boyrok is a named birch-grove and foothill walking area in the wider Ala-Archa–Kashka-Suu surroundings south of Bishkek. It concerns a lower vegetated landscape, distinct from the glacial headwaters and high summits that also appear under the broad Ala-Archa name.

The interest is the woodland and its relationship with open slopes and the surrounding foothill roads. A walk through the grove and a crossing towards a bend in the Kashka-Suu road can share the same local setting while following different lines. The grove’s name therefore identifies a place, not one universal circuit or a claim that the two outings are identical.
