It offers a change from the exposed lakeshore and canyon landscape. The destination is worth defining carefully: a visit to a lower pasture is not the same undertaking as climbing a surrounding mountain.
One local programme connects the gorge with a Tashtar-Ata ascent. That is evidence of a named higher objective in the area, not a promise that every visitor should add the summit. If you want a mountain day, request the actual line, approach and conditions. If you want time on the jailoo, choose a shorter programme suited to that purpose.
The place name also appears in cultural references and accounts of summer pasture life. This can make conversations with local hosts rewarding, but avoid assuming that a film association identifies one precise accessible campsite. Ask where the planned visit takes place and whether a family is expecting visitors.
Build the day around what the group wants to experience: walking, the pasture landscape, a hosted visit or a separately prepared ascent. Agree transport and a return point before leaving the main lakeshore route. A general regional photograph is used only for context here; it does not verify a particular Boz-Salkyn trail or the view from a named peak.
