The Ak-Suu valley of Leilek is a major high-mountain climbing landscape in Batken Region. First-person reports in the American Alpine Journal document expeditions to its large rock faces and distinguish it from other Central Asian places called Ak-Suu.

Its appeal is the scale of the alpine setting, but an expedition report is not a walking guide. Routes described on the walls involve technical climbing and should not be repackaged as ordinary day hikes. The Leilek qualifier also helps avoid confusion with the Ak-Suu valley in Karavshin. Ask experienced local operators about access, current permit requirements and a realistic surface itinerary; no technical route line or invented walking time is supplied.
