Its appeal is the scale of the alpine setting, but an expedition report is not a walking guide. Routes described on the walls involve technical climbing and should not be repackaged as ordinary day hikes. The Leilek qualifier also helps avoid confusion with the Ak-Suu valley in Karavshin. Ask experienced local operators about access, current permit requirements and a realistic surface itinerary; no technical route line or invented walking time is supplied.
