Named for composer Abdylas Maldybayev, it connects a city sightseeing walk with Kyrgyzstan’s stage traditions. The official city heritage list records the building, while municipal cultural announcements document performances and events associated with the theatre.
The exterior can be considered as part of a walk through the eastern part of the centre, alongside the Fine Arts Museum and nearby public gardens. Attending an opera, ballet or concert is a separate visit: check the current repertoire and ticket arrangements. An old announcement of a free outdoor performance does not establish free admission to later productions.
Look at the theatre as a working venue as well as an architectural object. Leave access clear for audiences and staff, and ask before photographing interiors or rehearsals. The map point identifies the theatre building; it does not indicate a ticket office entrance or the meeting point for every guided city walk.
OSM named feature representative point; not a verified entrance, parking place or walking route.
