The city administration records an open-air sculpture museum here from 1984. Trees, paths and stone compositions give the park a different pace from the ceremonial spaces of Ala-Too Square, making it suitable for a slower cultural walk.
Treat the sculptures as individual works rather than background furniture. Walking between them allows time to notice the different forms and their relationship with the planted setting. A municipal description identifies limestone and dolomite among the materials; the outdoor location does not make the works appropriate for climbing or handling.
The park can connect an itinerary involving the Russian Drama Theatre, the cinema and nearby museums. These institutions have their own admission arrangements, separate from a stroll through public space. Check for local closures or work on paths, and keep a flexible route through the open areas. Photography should leave space for other visitors using the park for ordinary rest and conversation.
