Travellers can experience the northern foothill landscape through supported walks and camp visits, while climbing the mountain is a separate technical and high-altitude expedition. The summit marker on the map is a geographical reference and must not be used as a walking destination. Choose an itinerary appropriate to your experience, arrange border permissions where required and allow proper acclimatisation. Even lower camps are exposed mountain environments; weather, equipment and reliable local support are central to a responsible visit.
