Koshoy-Korgon is a large earthen archaeological site in the At-Bashy area, associated in local tradition with the epic world of Manas. Its surviving walls and layout are the main experience: visitors need to look across the enclosure and imagine the scale of the settlement rather than expect a restored stone castle. The site makes a useful historical companion to Tash Rabat, showing another kind of monument in Naryn Region. A local explanation helps separate archaeology from later legend. Avoid climbing fragile earth walls and leave any fragments exactly where they lie.
