Shyrdakbek is an archaeological site with earthen fortifications near Cholok-Kaiyn in Ak-Talaa District.

A visit needs local directions and an explanation of what remains visible. Do not expect a restored castle or an entrance service comparable with a large museum. The site is most meaningful when a guide can distinguish surviving earthworks, the broader settlement setting and later interpretations.

Include the stop in a planned Ak-Talaa journey rather than navigating to a guessed point. Archaeological ground can look like ordinary low mounds, which makes careful behaviour important: stay off fragile wall edges and leave objects where they are found.
