This GPX was supplied for the catalogue. Current route conditions have not been checked on the ground. The file alone does not establish an alpine grade or a recommended trip time. Where points are far apart, the straight line does not show the exact trail.

Elevation profile

Elevation values come from the source file. Inaccuracies can affect total ascent. Gaps in the track are not joined.

Surface and terrain

The source does not provide a complete surface survey. Expect conditions to change after rain, snow and river floods.

ABOUT THE PLACE

About this place

Kunelek is a village in Alay district of Osh Region, on the eastern side of the mountain journey represented here. The supplied line begins in neighbouring Kara-Suu district and runs through mountain country towards the village surroundings. This places the outing within the inhabited valleys and ridges of the Osh mountains.

The geographical interest is the connection between separate settled catchments. A village provides a recognisable destination in that landscape, while the intervening valleys and high ground form the larger journey. Kunelek is distinct from Kojo-Kelen; the similarity of mountain-village names should not relocate the outing to a different valley.

ROUTE OVERVIEW

At a glance

A 94.6 km mountain track from Kara-Suu District towards Kunelek in Alay District. Its intended mode of travel is not confirmed.

User-supplied reference geometry; not independently field-verified. No alpine grade, access road, season or recommended completion time is established by the file. The source has widely spaced points; straight map edges do not establish a continuous surveyed path.

Track length: 94.6 km. This distance covers the track shown on the map. Add any approach, return or transfer sections that are outside it.

Is this route for you?

Choose the route after checking the actual start, finish and terrain with a local guide. Mapped geometry alone does not establish technical difficulty. Your group should be comfortable navigating offline and changing plans when conditions deteriorate.

Difficult sections & safety

Mountain weather can change quickly. Rain affects traction and river crossings; snow can remain on shaded slopes. Never assume a mapped line confirms a safe crossing or a passable trail. Check recent conditions locally, set a turnaround time and leave your plan with someone who can raise the alarm.

How much time to allow

Historical file time is not a recommended schedule.
