Kara-Suu Lake south of Toktogul Reservoir

This Kara-Suu Lake lies in the Toktogul mountain area of Jalal-Abad Region, in the landscape associated with Alatai Nature Park. Official environmental assessment material describes its mountain setting and its connection with the upstream Kapka-Tash lake system.

The district qualifier is essential: lakes and settlements called Kara-Suu occur elsewhere, including a different lake in the Aksy area. The public water-body outline is used only as a geographical reference, not as a shore arrival point. Confirm roads, any walking approach and park requirements locally. Scientific study of the lake’s fish does not establish visitor fishing rights, a campsite or permission to take a vehicle to the shore.

Public OpenStreetMap feature reference, not a surveyed arrival instruction or access guarantee.
