ROUTE OVERVIEW
At a glance
A river day from Naryn
Eki-Naryn appears in local motorcycle-tour programmes for its river country, open slopes and changing valley landscapes. This shorter plan takes that setting as a day objective from Naryn. It does not claim the tour operator’s entire cross-country stage or invent a circuit on the opposite riverbank.
Ride out, return the same way
Leave after checking the current public road through the Tash-Bashat area with a local host or rider. Continue only as far as an agreed Eki-Naryn village arrival point. The confluence and the wider valley marker are geographical references, not permissions to ride down a bank or onto an unverified bridge. Choose one short stop off the road, then retrace the known approach before weather or fatigue makes the return harder.
Keep the day self-contained
Carry enough fuel range for the round trip plus a margin and confirm any planned refill before relying on it. Inspect tyres, brakes and luggage, carry the puncture tools appropriate to the bike and keep water and rain protection within reach. Naryn accommodation makes a simple base; a village lunch or overnight needs advance agreement. Verify that your licence, insurance and rental arrangement cover this use. Tosor, high plateau tracks and mountain shortcuts towards Kochkor are separate rides, requiring their own conditions check and recovery plan.
Preparation and equipment
Manageable adventure/dual-sport motorcycle and gravel experience; choose a shorter turnaround for a road-focused bike.
Track length: 94.3 km. This distance covers the track shown on the map. Add any approach, return or transfer sections that are outside it.

Naryn Region
Getting there
Confirmed public village-road approach, out and back. End outward stage in Eki-Naryn village, not at the water or a valley centre pin. Return along the same confirmed public valley road. End the outward ride at Eki-Naryn village or a confirmed host, not the river confluence/park representative pin. No invented opposite-bank loop or Tosor crossing.
Without a car
Confirm transport to the actual trailhead, not just the nearest town. Agree the return pickup point and a latest contact time before leaving mobile coverage.
By car & parking
Ask locally about road access, entry rules and a permitted place to park. Use the line only for its stated mode of travel and exact scope.
