Choose the intended waterfall and allow for the climb from the valley. Wet rock, roots and steeper sections make the final walk different from a roadside picnic.
The local destination organisation describes a protected waterfall area and summer yurt stops. Those stops do not establish a permanent named camp or a guaranteed meal service. Arrange food and transport before travel, and keep the road approach separate from the walking section in the plan.
For a fuller valley visit, the caravanserai remains offer a distinct archaeological stop upstream of Barskoon village. A guide can connect the preserved earthworks with the wider movement of travellers and goods across the mountains. Return transport should be agreed in advance rather than relying on an evening vehicle appearing in the gorge.
Geographic reference, not a guaranteed entrance, trailhead or navigation route.
