University expeditions study it as an example of hypogene karst: underground cavities associated with deep fluid processes rather than only with water entering from the surface.
The area brings together exposed rock, the Dangi canyon setting and several individually named underground sites, including Baritovaya, Azhiadar-Unkur and Surprise. It is more useful to understand this as a landscape than to treat every opening as the same attraction. Scientific publications describe samples, surveys and geological processes, not a public trail network. Plan a surface visit and any underground work separately, with local advice about permission and conditions.
